The University of Oxford seeks a Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Planning and Resources) for this pivotal leadership position combining planning, resource allocation, estate development, and capital programmes.

As the University advances its upcoming 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, this role will orchestrate the evolution of a significant, complex estate while delivering transformational projects and forging innovation partnerships that shape Oxford’s future.


Responsibilities encompass implementing estate priorities, working with senior officers on sustainable, ambitious objectives, and providing guidance within Oxford’s collaborative governance framework. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor will chair the Planning and Resource Allocation Committee. Success demands system working skills and cultural sensitivity to flourish within Oxford’s consensual, collegiate tradition.
